God's “Get Character Quick” Plan (by Pastor Jack Hyles)

“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which
creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts.”
2nd Timothy 3:5-6

Say what you mean and mean what you say! —John 14:2

“The reality of salvation in the Christian life doesn't mean you'll never fall; it means you'll never stay down!” Pastor Jack Hyles, from the life-changing sermon, “WHEN I FALL, I SHALL RISE” (MP3 to download - right click to download)

When we don't pray or read our Bible,
we are saying to God, “I can do it alone.”

Your friends will make you or break you, be careful who you hang around.

A Good Name And Loving Favor
 (video sermon by Pastor John Wilkerson)

How To Keep Yourself From Becoming Evil
(MP3 by Pastor Jeff Owens)

You can tell a man's character by the way he behaves when he is wrong!

“Now listen carefully to me! I don't care who you are, you are not going to be able to stand, careful, close, scrutinization, by a critic!” —Dr. Jack Hyles, "In Find No Fault In This Man!"

You can tell a man's character by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him!

To live above with those we love, now that will be glory; but to live below with people I know, now brother that's a different story. Love is the eraser for human ills. Where love is thin, other people's faults are thick; where love is think, other people's faults are thin. Pray to God for love for OTHERS!

Anyone can live with Anybody if they can learn to be a Nobody.

“For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.” —Galatians 6:3

Professionals built the Titanic;
amateurs built the ark.

OLD-TIME CHRISTIANITY

Refusing to forgive is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die. Matthew 18:22 teaches forgiveness.

Your walk talks,
and your talk talks;
but your walk talks louder,
than your talk talks!

Second Mile Christianity
(a precious video sermon by Atty. David Gibbs Jr. of the Christian Law Association)

The Kind Of Christianity That Is Rare!

The Good Man Vs. The Spiritual Man
(MP3, Dr. Hyles; Few fundamentalists are spiritual)

You can tell a man's character
by what he does in his spare time!

You can't lay with dogs and not get fleas! You can't sow your wild oats and pray for crop failure! Sin is the best detective, it always gets its man.

Serving God With Many Tears

“If you ever give up your faith in the Word of God you're finished! That's what's wrong with our churches now. I hate to say this tonight, but I have to confess the truth—I have nothing but contempt for most of the churches in this country. And the reason why I do is because they won't say a thing about what's destroying this nation! And they're throwing their kids to the wolves!” —Pastor Charles Lawson (a quote from the helpful sermon, “Extra-Biblical Proof”).

The Church As A Family (Dr. Hyles, The church is the successor to the Old Testament family.

God setteth the lonely in families...

Psalms 68:5-6, “A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God
in his holy habitation.
God setteth the solitary
(lonely) in families...”

“All you have to do is accept His gift of eternal life and you'll go to Heaven when you die!”
—Dr. Jack Hyles, a quote from the great sermon, “I Find No Fault In This Man!

HE IS DOING ALL THINGS WELL!
[a life-changing, heart-warming, beautiful story (35:29 time in video) by Dr. David Gibbs Jr.

“Sometimes you may leave here and say, 'I wonder what he's mad about?' I'm not mad about anything, I just know one thing—whatever a preacher quits preaching on, is what his church will fill up with!”
Pastor Phil Kidd, a life-changing quote from the needful sermon “I AM Ashamed.

“Blindness has enveloped the Christian church nationwide!”
Pastor Chuck Baldwin, a quote from the needful video sermon, “Many Antichrist; One Beastly System.”)

“If we're the far right, they're the far wrong! Amen! They call us pro-life, they're pro-death! ... If they're politically correct, we're Biblically correct! ... You can't be both!” —Pastor Danny Castle, from the life-changing sermon, 'NOT FOR SALE!'

I really hate that stupid commercial that says, “It's 10 o'clock, do you know where your child is at?”
No sir! It's ANY o'clock and I know where my child is at! You had better KNOW where your child is at at ANY TIME

Believer's Corner

The Most Dangerous Place On Earth For A Christian (Be very careful in this dangerous place!)

Author William T. Still (born 1948) eloquently states...

Although the eventual ascendancy of the Antichrist to a position of global power is inevitable, the ascendancy of Communism is certainly not. Every day that Communism's march toward global hegemony is retarded is, in Christian terms, another day to rescue a few more souls from Satan's grasp and in political terms, another day to live in that uniquely gentle form of freedom found only in America.

William T. Still, pg. 145, New World Order: The Ancient Plan of Secret Societies (Lafayette, La.: Huntington House Publishers, 1990)

Though we may be virtually powerless to change the present course of evil events (2nd Timothy 3:13), we can allow the awareness of these developments to work a change in us! A church member who understands what The Order of Skull and Bones is all about will not get bent out of shape if a visitor sits in his seat...

Key to success or failure.
We become what we think about.
A man is what he thinks about all day long.
The opposite of courage is not cowardice, it is conformity.
People with goals succeed, because they know where they're going.
No man is a true success who fails to make pleasing God his most important goal!

Proverbs 24:19-20, “Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked;
For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.”

If Jesus Loves Everyone, Then What's The Value Of Love?

The most important job is the one that doesn't get done!

“You don't have to worry about a church, as long as God's Spirit is there!”
Pastor Danny Castle (an awesome quote from the intro to the sermon: “Starting Over | MP3

“Now you either believe what God said about man, or what man said about God!”
—Pastor Danny Castle, a great quote from the timeless sermon, MEDDLING WITH GOD!

“Money can buy you a dog, but it won't make him wag his tail!”
—Pastor Danny Castle, a truthful quote from the MP3 sermon, “The Saddest Story Ever Told.”

Everything is backwards; everything is upside down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the major media destroy information, religions destroy spirituality, and Bible publishers destroy God's Word.

The Need for Sound Doctrine on the Internet

There is a great need for sound doctrine on the internet! It is tragic that the Devil's crowd has posted most of the religious content on internet content. It wouldn't be that way if New Testament Churches and born-again Christians cared. Sadly, the false cult of Seventh-Day Adventism has posted MUCH end-time prophecy, all heresies, on the internet, deceiving many people. The Lordship Salvation heresy is epidemic on the internet. The lie that salvation can be lost is everywhere on the web. Oh how we need THE TRUTH!

It is tragic that many great men of God have passed away, whose writings were doctrinally sound, but their writings have died with them. Their books are only available if you pay money for them. It is sad that Christian organizations today are hording the books of great men of God of times past, because they want to make money. I think those men of God are upset in Heaven, that their life's work is sitting idle, hardly read by anyone. The cults publish all sorts of garbage on the web, free. False prophets abound on the web, free. But if you want doctrinally sound books you have to buy them. Where are the New Testament churches?

The world is going to Hell and most ministries are more interested in making money. There was a day in America when almost everyone believed the Bible, and the only Bible people used was the inspired King James Bible. Most of the information being published on the internet today is corrupt theology which comes from corrupt Bibles.

I encourage you, as a believer, to find literary works by doctrinally sound men of God (most of whom you'll find were Baptist preachers) and publish that information online. There is a great need for doctrinally sound information on the web. People are going to the web to find out what various Scriptures mean, everything from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21. Most people are lazy and are going to go to the internet. So why let the Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Scientologists or Charismatics teach them? If you are a genuine Christian, and you are doctrinally sound, then get busy writing articles and join me. There are many places to post articles for free, or better yet start your own web. ~Your webservant and friend, David J. Stewart

Sycophantic Praises in Our Churches Today
John 4:22, “Ye worship ye know not what...”

There is a direct correlation between a pastor's LOVE FOR MONEY versus the AMOUNT OF TRUTH HE PREACHES! Tragically, most of today's evangelical ministers love money more than truth, which is why they're so publicly silent concerning sin, the moral meltdown of America and the blatant evils being committed by our government leaders.

“How can anyone be so blind, or so dumb, as to go through life, and Face Death, without the Christian Hope? Apart from Christ, what is there, what can there be, either for This World, or the Next, to make life worthwhile? We All have to Die. Why try to laugh it off? It seems like Every Human Being would Welcome Christ with Open Arms, and consider it the Proudest Privilege of his life to wear the Christian Name.”

“The clock of life is wound but once, and no man has the power,
 to tell just when the hands will stop, at late or early hour;
To lose one's wealth is sad indeed, to lose one's health is more,
to lose your soul is such a loss, that no one can restore.”

What Will It Take For God To Break You?

Jonah was your typical person who forgets about God until tragedy strikes. It's sad, but true, that most of us don't think about what pleases God until we're in the back of an ambulance or in a dangerous situation. Whereas Jonah was stubbornly fleeing from the will of God before; now he is in the morbid belly of a whale facing imminent death, crying out in repentance for God to deliver him. Whereas Jonah wasn't concerned about fulfilling the will of God just days earlier; now he is desperately desiring to do God's will and preach the Gospel to lost sinners who trust in “lying vanities.”

What will it take for us to surrender our lives to do God's will? Why does God always have to send a whale to devour us, fiery serpents to bite us (Numbers 21:6), an evil spirit to afflict us (1st Samuel 16:14) or a thorn in the flesh to humble us (2nd Corinthians 12:7). Mankind is sinfully proud and stubborn. Deuteronomy 6:12 warns, “Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.” It is so easy to become ungrateful for all the wonderful things that God has done for us. So often as believers we forget about the very God Who brought us forth out of darkness (bondage to sin) and gave to us new life in Jesus Christ.

With All Thy Getting Get Wisdom (Dr. Hyles; our world is talent crazy without wisdom)

Thoughts Of Wisdom . . .

~God gave us two ears and one mouth to teach us to listen twice as much as we talk.
~It is difficult for a tender-hearted man to work with cold-hearted people. The two just don't mix.
~People don't care how much you know, until they first know how much you care.
~Collecting tin cans from the garbage is an honest living!
~Don't live in the world of “I should of, I could of, I would of.”
~Insanity is doing something the same way repeatedly, expecting something different to happen.
~Give God your heart and He'll comb the kinks out of your head.
~It's better to try to live right and fail 5 times out of 10, then not to try at all.
~There are 86,400 seconds in a day. Have you thanked God with one of them?
~Mankind can condemn each other to the grave; but only God can condemn a soul to Hell.

Isaiah 51:7, “Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose
heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.”

Ephesians 5:11 states, "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove (Greek, elencho, meaning 'to expose') them." As Christians, we are expected by God to EXPOSE all "works" which are not of God, or that lead people away from God.

“The Church at its worst is better than the world at its best!”
—Pastor Danny Castle (a quote from the tough love video sermon titled, “Is Your Heart Right?” | MP3)

No matter what, you'll be judged, so be yourself. Fear God and keep His commandments.

THE CHURCH AS A FAMILY (a video sermon by Pastor Danny Castle)

Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD,
thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

Ephesians 3:15, “Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named.”

Wasted Suffering (an awesome MP3 sermon by Pastor Jack Hyles)

“When you get upset, that's the door that stops you from agapeing!
When something bugs you, agape is about to leave the premise!”

—Dr. David Gibbs Jr. (a quote from the beautiful sermon HIS VOICE” about loving the unloving with God's love!)

SALVATION IN THE OLD TESTAMENT—God did not give the law under Moses for men to keep to get to Heaven. Rather, the law was given to show people their need for the blood!

“The secret to Jack Hyles is his willingness to be repetitious of the obvious.” —Singer Bill Harvey

“If there's anybody in the Bible that God had disdain for, it was those that had disdain for other sinners!” —an awesome quote from the MP3 sermon by Dr. Jack Hyles titled, “If Thou Should Mark Iniquities, Who Could Stand?

Mark Twain — “It takes your enemy and your friend, working together, to hurt
you to the heart: the one to slander you and the other to get the news to you.”

“You show me a person to whom Heaven becomes real, and this Book becomes real, and God becomes real, and Hell becomes real, and salvation becomes real, and I'll show you a person that will so much the more serve God as he sees the day approaching!” —Pastor Jack Hyles, a quote from the awesome MP3 sermon titled, “So Much The More As Ye See The Day Approaching.”

“You will not win the battle unless you bathe your life in this Book!”
—Dr. Jack Hyles, a wonderful quote from the sermon: “Israel or Jacob?

“Listen, what this generation needs is as simple as ABC—it needs a group of God's people who love this Book, and surrender themselves momentarily to the blessed Spirit of God!” —Dr. Hyles, a helpful quote from the sermon: “Israel or Jacob?

“The two most important things, is to know you are saved and in the will of God!”
—Pastor Danny Castle (a quote by Phil Kidd from the 2019 Youth Rally, "If I Could Be Young Again").

CONCERNING SALVATION IN THE OLD TESTAMENT UNDER CEREMONIAL LAW - The best miracle that God did—He loved you, died, and He made sure that we're going to live with Him, and He's going to overpower Satan, because He's going to use blood and it's gonna all point to the blood of Jesus Christ; but in the meantime, until time runs its time, when it's time for Christ to come—after about 4,000 years, something like that—I'm going to use the blood of the innocent sheep, and so forth, and that's going to be used there to show what blood Christ is going to shed, as the perfect Lamb of God. As your sacrifice the perfect sheep who did no sin, but that's going to represent your belief that Christ will come, and that will give you eternal life!

Did God give His laws (about 720 of them) to go to Heaven? No; but rather, to show you that you need THE BLOOD to go to Heaven!

Lord, Keep Your arm around my shoulder and Your hand over my mouth!

“It takes your enemy and your friend, working together to hurt you to the heart;
the one to slander you and the other to get the news to you.”
—Mark Twain

Proverb 18:8, “The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.”

God's “Get Character Quick” Plan

(Character is the subconscious doing of right. It is in your reflexes. It is doing right by reflex which is the safest way for a Christian to be. I am going to give you the way for your entire body to be self-disciplined. The Bible gives us a way to develop character and self-discipline quickly.)

It is our differences as human beings that cause conflict.

Philippians 2:3, “Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory;
but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.”

“Our salvation was settled by our acceptance of Jesus, but now we are to be judged for our works and service. Paul tells us that every one of us shall give an account of himself to God. No Christian will escape; therefore, the apostle reminds us that we are not to waste our time judging our brethren, for the time of their judgment is coming when they must stand before the judgment seat of Christ.” —Dr. Lee Roberson, Chapter 2, Some Golden Daybreak.

“Too long I've laid me down to sleep, and prayed the Lord my soul to keep.
I should awake before I die, and realize time is passing by;
And rise and go and tell the lost, despite my plans despite the cost.
Too long I've laid me down to sleep, while multitudes about me weep;
And other cries of dark despair, for no one ever seems to care.
My life is short, and soon I'll stand, with sinner's bloods upon my hand;
Unless I wake before I die, and realize time is passing me by.”

My mother used to say, “God works in mysterious ways.” As I get older and look back over my life, I am learning that my mom was right. At times in life when I couldn't see my hand in front of my face, God was there; but I couldn't see Him working until years later when I looked back. As the saying goes... “Hindsight is 20/20.” I've learned to trust the HEART of God even when I can't see the HAND of God at work in my life. The book of Esther in the Old Testament evidences this precious Biblical truth. Although God is NOT mentioned even once in the entire book of Esther, we see God's divine hand of providence at work and how everything worked out in favor of God's children at the end. God was there even though they didn't see God working. The same holds true today. God has NOT changed (Malachi 3:6).

“God would rather die than see you go to Hell!” Evangelist Phil Kidd

There's always something you thought you could have done to make things better!

IF I COULD LIVE 2010 AGAIN
(a needful video sermon by Pastor Danny Castle | MP3)

Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and may every year find you a better man.

A Word of Wisdom from Dr. Lee Roberson (1909-2007)...

In the last place, there are detours of disappointment. No one in life is free form this detour. We are disappointed in others. We are disappointed in the failure of our plans. We are disappointed in ourselves. There must be a constant battle against this foe, or we will find ourselves growing bitter and cynical. In the face of disappointment, we must smile, keep sweet, and trust God. My life is not all I would have it to be. I am oftentimes disappointed regarding circumstances and people, but in it all, I am keenly aware of God's love and grace. Even disappointment has a redeeming feature, for when I am disappointed in myself and in others, I lean more heavily upon God, for our God is One who never fails or disappoints His children. And now in full faith let us repeat together: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”

SOURCE: Dr. Lee Roberson, from the awesome sermon, THE DETOURS OF LIFE.

“...Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”
—Luke 18:8

In youth I'm too happy to think, I've got plenty of time left.
In manhood I'm too busy to think, I'm trying to make a lot of money.
In the prime of life I'm too anxious to think, worry has taken over.
When I start getting old, I'm too old to think—life's wasted, heart's got harder.
Dying in bed—I'm too sick to think, I'm weak and suffering.
Death is too late to think—time's over and opportunity is lost.
In eternity—forever to think, I'm in Hell now with no mercy, and lost forever.

So often what we think about ourselves is not based upon what others think of us, or even upon what we think of ourselves; but upon what we think others think about us. May we rise above the trivial and fleeting thoughts and emotions of this temporal earthly life, and focus our minds upon Jesus Christ, soulwinning, and the imminent Rapture of the Church.

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,
and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ
2nd Corinthians 10:5.

If you still have your innocence young person, KEEP IT! Don't let the wrong crowd
know how far you will go, you let them know how far YOU WON'T GO! Stay innocent!!!

"And he [Jesus] said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your
hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God." ―Luke 16:15

Preacher quotes:

“The Bible is an amazing Book! When you're down, it'll lift you up. When you're up, it'll bring you down.
When you're in, it'll get you out. When you're out, it'll bring you in!”

“Men do not reject the Bible because it contradicts itself, but because it contradicts them.”

“Some people give Satan a stick to beat them with.”

“There's a judgment coming, but you have the choice to settle out of court.”

“The Christian life is not a playground, it's a battleground.”

“The hardest part about getting people saved is getting them lost.”

Take care of your morals first, your health second, and your studies last.

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...
It's about learning to sing in the rain.

We all have people that we don't like, but there shouldn't be ANYONE that we don't love. Amen?!
Love them by praying for them! Pray for God's will to be done, that Christ may be glorified in that person's life.

Why You Shouldn't Give Money to Big Charities!

"Many a man's reputation would not know his character if they met on the street."

 American author, Elbert Hubbard (1856-1915)

Lord let me live from day to day,
In such a self-forgetful way,
That even when I kneel to pray,
My prayer shall be for others.
Others, Lord, yes, others;
Let this my motto be.
Help me to live for others
That I may live like Thee.
